Every year, about 300 billions cans are produced by only three companies in the world. The can has a unique industrial shape but different sizes exist, which makes actually a huge amount of identical objects. The can has been redesigned for about 70 years now; it’s therefore an object really complete.
Paradoxically, we tend to throw away this item after use while it contain a lot of properties that can serve other purposes.
I decided to extend the life span of the can by giving it a wide range of function. Using the different properties of its form, I designed some extensions connectible to the can; the combination of these two elements will create a new object. The can is of course replaceable, as it is essential. Without the can the extension is useless.
